I'd be surprised if that wasn't already the case. I'll check.
Yep, it's on thread.
Also, I think someone mentioned a difference between Dsound and Xaudio2. I normally use Xaudio2 as it's usually recommended.
Little bit of a bump here, but I'm stumped. I looked through most of the first couple pages and skimmed some of the rest of the thread, and from what I can gather, I seem to be among the only people that these options don't work for as far as I can tell.
I was getting some choppy audio after switching to LLE, and I fiddled with the settings in the OP, and the audio is still choppy. It's not usually terrible, but it "chops" every so often. Anyone know what the deal might be?
Well, I would try the "Accurate VBeam Emulation". I read, that this option influences LLE in a positive way.
Just right click on your game -> porperties and check "Accurate VBeam Emulation"

With i5 2500k at 4 ghz you should be getting fullspeed in most games even without this trick
Which games are giving you trouble ?l
Quote:With i5 2500k at 4.4 ghz...
Fixed that for you

Haha I am not sure about that.
If we are talking about SMG2 lowest I get with i5 2400 is 48 fps.
My cpu is boosting to 3.2 with 3 cores
Simple math should tell us that 4 ghz should be enough for fullspeed 100% of the time in that game.
As for last story,I dont think even 4.4 is enough since I get as low as 20 fps in newest revisions, which means it would require about 4.8 ghz sandy bridge for fullspeed !
So as you can see 4.4 ghz doesnt fit anywhere its either 4 ghz or 4.8 ghz !

Well simple math doesn't work in this case XD, overclocking isn't going to give you the same amount of a speed boost as how much you overclock.
So let's say 4.0 GHz AT LEAST is needed

I think it should,if bottleneck is 100% on the cpu side.
If something is also bottlenecking, then overclocking cpu won't give same amount of speed boost in for example percantages of your overclock.
For example 25% overclock should give 25% speed boost if cpu is only part causing lower speed in first place.

I wish it were that simple, but it's not. The increased clock rate (in terms of %) doesn't always translate exactly when it comes to Dolphin performance, and the reasons for that are various.
