You're using Dolphin 3.0 (32 Bits) correct?
Where have you downloaded it from?
Try pasting the following in
GCPadNew.ini. Then check if you can use your keyboard.
Code:
[GCPad1]
Device = DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse
Buttons/A = X
Buttons/B = Z
Buttons/X = C
Buttons/Y = S
Buttons/Z = D
Buttons/Start = RETURN
Main Stick/Up = UP
Main Stick/Down = DOWN
Main Stick/Left = LEFT
Main Stick/Right = RIGHT
Main Stick/Modifier = LSHIFT
Main Stick/Modifier/Range = 50,000000
C-Stick/Up = I
C-Stick/Down = K
C-Stick/Left = J
C-Stick/Right = L
C-Stick/Modifier = LCONTROL
C-Stick/Modifier/Range = 50,000000
Triggers/L = Q
Triggers/R = W
D-Pad/Up = T
D-Pad/Down = G
D-Pad/Left = F
D-Pad/Right = H

Thank you for helping! Yes I am using 32 Bit Dolphin 3.0, and I downloaded it from this website, the Dolphin website.
I changed the GCPadNew.ini. Now DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse shows up under the Devices, but I cannot change the controls. No game responds to the default controls either.
Can't you try with a pad? And go into Wiimote and try to configure an emulated Wiimote

How do I try a pad? I don't have any controllers for XBox and I can't use my Wiimotes in college... I just want to use my keyboard. How do I try an emulated Wiimote?

Try this :
1- Delete your Dolphin Folder
2- Redownload it here
http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html?rev=v30&arch=win32
3- Launch the .exe in C:\Users\You\Documents (for example)
4- Retry to configure your keyboard
Btw : could you give more details about your specs? Windows version? Processor and Graphic Card?
And

You can use any recent pad. Not only XBox pad

Ok so I redownloaded and saved it into a folder named "Dolphin" in my "Documents" folder but how do I find VCOMP100.DLL? because it cannot be found when I click on the Dolphin icon in the folder... Thank you everyone for being so helpful by the way, I am sorry I totally suck with computers!
Also, I have Windows 7a Core Processor and idk what Graphic Card means, sorry I wish I knew. You guys are so smart though. Anyways, how do I get VCOMP100.DLL and do I need to save it to a particular folder?
You're welcome. But next time, provide more information when you create a thread.
For your problem, you'll have to download and install the
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (32-bit).
I linked the 32-bit because I assume you have a 32-bit OS.
You can give us your computer specs by doing the following:
Hold the
![[Image: windows-key_000.jpg]](http://vitamincm.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/windows-key_000.jpg)
key on your keyboard, and press R.
In the box that appears, you type "dxdiag".
Now hit "save all information", then paste the information to Pastebin and put a link here to it.
Don't paste everything here.

Next time I will certainly add more information. Thank you everyone, I think it seems to be working with the keyboard now. Thanks! One last question, though, if I plan on playing Metroid Prime, is there a way I can use the mouse to aim the gun and left click to shoot? Everytime I click on C-Stick I cannot figure out how to use the mouse to aim or click to shoot. Any ideas?
You can left-click on the boxes, and move your mouse in the desired axis.
For the A button, click on the box, then left-click.
Your buttons should get assigned to those actions.
It will not work as you expect it to.
If you want to play like that, you'll need to play the Wii version of Metroid Prime.

Oh well Ok thank you very much! It runs really slowly sometimes, is there a specific way to configure it so that it doesn't? I also have Zelda Collector's Edition which works fine, but this doesn't...
