Have you seen the
Unreal Engine 4 demo?
Square-Enix also showed off
Agni's Philosophy.
Both are great demo's for what we can expect next-gen.

There's no need to look forward to such a game, as there already is one.
Star Wars Jedi Academy, especially when modded is IMO the best Star Wars game.

Yeah but I dont count Unreal Engine as a game :p
It is really impressive tough, it never ocurred to me that objects didnt conduct light in modern games, I dunno, just never missed that ability. It is important as a physics property tough.
I never had the chance to play Jedi Academy, Ill google it.

Now now NV, you're sounding weird! you seem like the kind of user who usually says companies (mistakenly) creates too much sequels and end up destroying good franchises just because they're guaranteed to earn money with it. And now you say that's how they should work?
Just in case you ask, you said this a while ago, about a franchise I can't remember.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Men in Black, about MIB III
Movies and video games are two very different mediums. It is much easier to make a good video game sequel than a good movie sequel. If you can't come up with any good new game franchises ideas and everyone wants you to make a sequel to x game then I say do it. For the love of god battlefront III is one of the most requested game sequels of all time, I see big petitions popping up for it every year.
Meh, you got a point there, Id be totally thrilled right now if the announcement had been for BF3 and not 1313
