I can play other Wii games and have no issues, but with MP 9 I get random controller is interrupted message. Generally speaking, I can Alt+ f5, etc but it happens dozens of times in the hour it takes to play the game.

I am using real WiiMotes and want to stress other Wii games like Mario Kart Wii do not have this issue. I have tried 3.0 and the latest build (635 I think) and still have the issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
Have you tried to disable Wiimote Speaker?

Thanks for your suggestion, but dumb follow-up question...

How do I disable that?
Check "Alternate WiiMote Timing". Right click on your game in the Dolphin game list -> Properties
Or check Disable Wiimote Speaker (always in Game Properties) if you're using Dolphin 3.0
Awesome! Thanks DefenderX and LordVador. Will test this out!
I'm interested in buying this game but i don't want these problems.
Could you tell me if this has fixed the problem?
Having disconnections isn't a fatality. I could test the game (not on my system though) without any disconnections. Haddockd may have got issues for several reasons but it might (and should) work fine for you
I can confirm that the game also works perfect here with an official Wiimote.

haddock what is the Wiimote ID?
The fix mentioned above did indeed fix the issue. I played several rounds this weekend with the only issue being that the sound starts to get garbled later in the round (even with LLE). Doesn't always happen and does not effect gameplay, just sounds bad.

Garteal,

Not sure what you mean by Wiimote ID or how to find it.
