So I have msi after burner running, but it won't see Dolphin. It works fine for like games like CSS, Quake Live, and all that, even recording the desktop works, but it won't see Dolphin.

Anyone know any way to fix this? I want to record some gameplay, but if I used fraps my hd would run out in 5 minutes.
Dolphin can record video itself. Under advanced graphics settings, enable dump frames, and under dsp dump audio.

However, a/v will not sync properly, as is. You can get patched builds at http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12601 that fix that problem.
thx
how compressed are the dumps, it's now raw is it?
You can encode with any codec you want.
was using xvid but it kills my fps.
can't use uncompression, i don't have enough room.

Anyone else try msi after burner or recommend any other codecs?

EDIT: even with uncompression slow down is too much.

EDIT2: msi afterburner started working again magically, but the recordings are titled Desktop, and they are fine, stats don't show up on the video though, but w/e, it works.
