Confused my labtop's specs are

Intel I5 2450 @ 2.5 with turbo boost it get's up to 2.9

i have an nvidia optimus labtop with Nvidia GeForce 520MX
tho i don't know how to use it on dolphin

and 4G Ram

so my question is

is that good enough cuz im getting 24-30 fps in mario kart wii
and mario kart double dash

and how do i make dolphin use the Geforce 520MX
CPU i5 2450M is ok if it not overheat (Use Realtemp to check your CPU temperature when dolphin is running)
Make sure turbo boost clock speed stay higher than 2.6Ghz
Nvidia GT 520MX is alittle faster than Intel HD 3000 . It can play most games at 1.5x Internal Resolution(480p) or even 2x IR(720p) with "light" games

i tried it is still slow maybe because its running the Intel GPU

i tried everything in the nvidia control panel and nothing worked
Are you sure your CPU not overheats when running dolphin ? Turbo Boost will be disabled and CPU will be underclocked if your CPU overheats
Intel HD 3000 can handle 1.5x IR same as Nvidia GT 520MX , you know

If you've already used lowest IR but no speed gain from that then your CPU is the problem

Try Vbeam
Btw , I only get 45-60 FPS in MKWii , stable 60 FPS in MKDD

my cpu turbo boosts to 2.9 and some times 3.0 so the cpu is not the problem

im sure its from the gpu
i tried using the opengl and it uses the geforce 520mx

but the d3d9 plugin dosent

is it normal or is there's a problem
it is laptop, not labtop

It shouldn't make a difference, as it should switch to the most powerful one when in game, but this can be fixed by setting dolphin to high performance mode in the nVidia control panel.
