Hi all. New user here.

I was wondering should I be able to GC games at full speed? I've tried running Double Dash but I get slowdown. Apologies if this is a noob question. But does the FPS decide the speed of the game? For example when I get 60 FPS everything runs full speed but when I get say 40 FPS, does this mean that the speed is now 2/3 times the full speed? Here are my specs.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Processor/CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 @ 2.53GHz
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS
Memory/RAM: 4GB
Dolphin Revision: 3.0 64-bit

Any recomendations for settings would also be very much appreciated.

Many thanks for the help,

Mark

Yes, it does. You might be able to get full speed on a lot of the less demanding games, but that's about it. Most games won't run at full speed on that cpu.
