What do I need to improve in my PC to get 50-60 fps in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn?

Current spec:
Athlon 4800+ dual core 2500+ mhz each
GeForce 8800GT 512 ram
2gb ram

current fps is 20-30 (the game runs slower than it should)

get an amd64 phenom x2 or an intel core2duo (the fastest available), run a 64 bit os and obviously get the 64 bit dolphin. this should be common sense but enable dual core in the dolphin config.

O, my! Enabling dual core actually helped with Wii emulation ALOT!!! Enabling it for GC caused nothing but trouble, so I didn't even bother switching it for Wii.

Thank you! I think my year old (and as I see not so rusty) CPU is still going to make it for a while.
