If you want to upgrade to Ivy Bridge: Z75/Z77 MoBo
If you want to upgrade to Sandy Bridge: P67/Z68

Hint: Some Z68 MoBo's are compatible with Ivy Bridge.
Hint 2: Z75/Z77 MoBo's are compatible with Sandy Bridge
What are Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge?
Google is your friend >.> Tongue

Ivy Bridge: 3rd generation of Intel CPUs
Sandy Bridge: 2nd generation of Intel CPUs
Sorry but, like I said earlier, I'm not really tech-savvy in the hardware scene Sad Google would just confuse me even further.

Which would work better with the i5 2500k? And the i5-3750k?
You mean, which Motherboard? Well, depends on the model of the MoBo, there are many of them.

Generellay i would say, that Ivy Bridge performs best at a Z77 MoBo. (pls can someone correct me, if i'm wrong).

btw: i'm out, good night ^^

Fixed that for you.

Dolphin dosent upscale, it renders in true HD
Thanks for the info, guys. On the motherboard thing I think I'll let the clerk point me in the right direction. I think I'll be going with the i5-2500k and hope for the best.
The difference in price should be small, so a 3750k may be a better choice as it's faster at the same speed.

Not upscaling, rendering. Dolphin supports rendering at higher than native resolutions like most 3D console emulators.
