Full Version: Metroid Prime 2 Crashes when i use Rockets

Since the 3rd part of the Dark Temples (that Machine Fortress^^) in Metroid Prime 2 I have issues with the rockets , when i want to use rockets the following message appears

1.DSI exception in lmw
2.DSI exception in stmw
3. ERROR trying to compile at 0. LR=80300920

Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping

DSP HLE, Enable HTK Music

JIT Recompiler
Graphic Settings

openGL

Internal Resolution : Auto (Multiple of 640x528)
Anti Aliasing : None
Anisotropic Filtering: 1x
Post Processing effect : off
scaled efb copy on


Skip EFB access from cpu
EFB Copies Texture
Texture Cache Safe
disable frame buffer, fast minimaps,disable pixel per depth on

Advanced : all disabled

tell me if u need more setting information.
Well, which Dolphin revision do you use? The official 3.0 release? And pls post your settings as screenshots, this is certainly better for me. so i can better recognize, which settings are ok or false Wink

yes, the offical 3.0 release

Well, set the graphics backend to Direct3D9 (faster than OpenGL) and check "OpenMP Texture Decoder" (Can give you a little speed up as you've got a quadcore CPU). Also enable the EFB Copies to RAM Cache.

As the rest looks okay, i guess, the problem is the game itself. Did you try to dump it again?

You should do this now ^.^

Well.... seems like there was an issue with the state saves ? I just went to a normal safe point and saved on the memory card rebooted and started the game normal and now i can use rockets again ^.^
Very strange, but this is a known problem. There are some problems with save states - Try to avoid them and save in-game.

if the game isn't running @100% using savestates is really unreliable
