At some point, when i'm activating a lot of Gecko Codes together, Dolphin immediately crashes upon loading a game. When i deactivate a few of them, it will start up again. It's not even any specific code that crashes the emulator, i mixed and matched them all, it seems to be the amount.

Is there some sort of limit to how many codes you can activate at one time? If so, could that be increased or fixed or at the least show some kind of message or warning instead of unceremoniously crashing without notice?

I've looked into \User\Logs\Dolphin.log after the crash, but it's empty.

(edit: Also, the Cheat Search is still broken in 3.0-601)
I'm not aware of a limit. Posting your specs and also settings as a screenshot may help us trace it if only you have this issue.
Running a Q8400 @ 2.66GHz with 8 GB Ram and a GTX 460.

Settings on the video plugin do not matter at all, i tried every possible permutation of settings in Hacks and Enhancements there, and even the software renderer. Still crashes instantly with enough codes.

As for Audio settings, i usually run HLE on DSound 48kHz. Changing any of these settings had no effect either.

General settings: JIT Recompiler, Lock Threads to Cores, Enable Dual Core, Enable Idle Skipping, Enable Cheats (obviously).
The game in question (Monster Hunter 3) also uses the MMU speed hack, but again, deactivating that doesn't help.

The only way i just found to actually get the game to start consists of disabling BOTH dual core and idle skipping. One of them or both results in instant crash.
The game still crashes when i try to get past the main menu, though.

Not sure how that's going to help?? But sure, here's the exact same thing i already said in picture format, with colors and stuff.

What kind and number of codes are you using? To me this sounds more like a bug than anything else, and usually bugs with gecko or AR codes happen if they're poorly written or there is a combination which is incompatible.
And what is with the rest, e.g. the graphics tab?

btw: do ya really need the MMU speed hack? Have you tried to disable it?

Fwiw, OP doesn't have to provide settings as screenshots. Text, screenshots, and videos provide the same info, although screenshots and videos are more immediate to the eyes. The OP's free to provide settings in the most convenient manner to them. It only becomes a problem if there isn't enough info, which can happen with either text or screenshots. This is just for future reference since the pics have been posted.
Although it's much faster to compare your setting with what we know should work if they're as images.

As i said before, tried deactivating it, doesn't help.
Graphic settings is kind of a moot point, because if i have to screenshot every graphical setting i tried, i'll be finished sometime tomorrow. You'd be looking at at least 60 screenshots. I tried just about every possible setting plus software renderer and they all crash.

For what it's worth, i counted the amount of gecko code lines i have activated when the emulator crashes.
When i have 330 code lines active: instant crash.
When i take 4 of those away for a total of 326 code lines: Game boots and plays without a hitch.
