Hi!
I've managed to get Dolphin running smoothly on my laptop. I've been playing Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (gamecube) at just under 100% speed. However, after some time of playing it will slow down to 50%. It will continue under that speed for a short while.
What could be the problem? Is there any way I could fix this? Thank you!

(Quick specs: Acer Aspire 4830, 2nd Gen i5, nvidia Geforce GT540, Windows 7 x64.)
overheating of your cpu...

1. clean your fans (on your responsibility)
2. put your laptop on a table
3. buy an laptop cooler http://goo.gl/NN1tP
third option won't help you very much.

you could try to renew the thermal compound. The standard thermal compound is usually bad, get Arctic Cooling MX-4. but like dannzen said, on your responsibility.

EDIT by neobrain: You sure managed to excel yourself in terms of off-topic-ness with this one...
Wow. I really hope either that was faked by a rich guy, or that that person was under the age of 12.

EDIT by neobrain: You sure love 'em off-topic warnings, don't you? Tongue

EDIT BY ME: Danzen did it first, and ExtremeDude2 did it first last time.
