well, i don't think so. I'm right handed and i'm the best in my class Wink

Anecdotal evidence ftw! Big Grin

There are some statistics to back up Zee. Mensa, basically the world oldest genius club, is roughly 20% or something like that left-handed, which is larger than estimated left-handed population as a whole (somewhere between 8-15% of the world, depending on who you hear from).

One would expect that those percentages (8-15) would be reflected almost everywhere, but it appears Mensa is a statistical anomaly. But then again, as Benjamin Disraeli once said, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.", so who knows Wink

Researchers do think that lefties use the right side of their brain more, and that could facilitate more creativity and outside-the-box thinking. They say the left side of the brain, used a lot by righties, is good for analytical, linear thinking. I've always had a thing for poetry and writing, but programming and mathematics were just as easy to me.

As some of you can tell from my posts, I probably care way too much about this stuff, but oh well. Smile
I think I've heard that about Mensa before. And on the subject of left handed pencil sharpeners, I've only ever found one, and it destroyed my last 6B pencil, so I put it under the leg of a school desk and jumped onto the desk. I'd forgotten this incident, but I do remember that the owner was right handed, so hated the sharpener nearly as much as I did.
