Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello everyone. I'm interested in playing games on my new PC.

Here are the specs.

Intel i3-2125 3.3GHz (Dual core with Hyperthreading)
AMD Radeon 6850
8GB DDR3 1333 G.SKILL

How well would it run the following games:
Tales of Symphonia
Metriod Prime: Echoes
Twilight Princess
Wind Waker
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

why not try them out yourself?

I'm waiting for a SATA cable in the mail because my motherboard only came with one. Right now I'm sooo very bored :/

All of em should run great.

Not echoes, at least not in the larger areas.

Curious what is holding my computer back. GPU, CPU, or RAM?

CPU - an i3 is not enough for such a demanding game.

What CPU would most people consider adequate, might I ask?

i5-2500k - This is the ultimate Dolphin-CPU.
