you need to define "better". The may flash is:
cheep $14.65 shipping included
production made
widely used
and pretty

however it has issues, most mentioned in this thread. The company plans to address theses issues so do not buy one yet. There are a few other options but not much better then mayflash IMO. Now if better you you means

Every feature supported
A community open project ( like dolphin )
Anything not working can be resolved with a firmware upgrade
Aimed to support any type of controller ( i.e wave birds and racing wheels )
but your willing to sacrifice a bit more on the price take and some of the pretty-ness. $35.00 shipping included
See my sig,

Thanks for the quick reply!

I guess I'll wait a bit and see if it gets better in the future.

I'll probably need an adapter for multiple GC controllers maybe I can save a bit money in the near-future Confused
May flash does do two controllers.
But the blissbox doesn't. This is the only drawback (other than the fact it's twice the price of mayflash's 'equivalent'): you must buy a second blissbox to get a second controller supported.
Oh I thought you meant the may flash, I gotch now.

Hi guys,
I'm new here and don't mean to intrude, but I do see that a particular ebay auction is claiming that this device "may not support the official controller." http://www.ebay.com/itm/GameCube-GC-Controller-USB-Adapter-Dual-Port-PC-notebook-Windows-Mayflash-/261035984049?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc6f504b1#ht_2159wt_1163

Could it be that this is the reason why some of you owners of this device are having troubles that others aren't? I'd be interested in knowing this product does in fact have some issues with official controllers.

Tri4force

I just tested out my BlockHead wireless GameCube/Wii GC controller, and to my surprise, found it works perfectly!

(as well a blockhead controller can, the main stick is a little jumpy)

Just got done testing it out in Smash Bros. Melee, and had no issues with the shoulder buttons, either in game or setup.

I didn't even think about trying it out with the adapter before.
khaztr, you are correct. There are some hit and miss with the mayflash. I believe they are also working on that. as Tri4force pointed out they work with some 3rdparties.
Has anyone had any success discovering any kind of workaround with this? It's fairly simple to just not activate any buttons for the analog part of the gc-controller, but that's not really an option for all games.

Feel kind of silly having bought two of these, especially seeing as I bought Mayflashs' "Wireless wii controller to usb adapter" (the things you plug into the wiimotes) and it works perfectly 100%.

Hello guys, I´m really interested in buying this adapter, so I asked some questions to an ebay´s seller and he told me that you have to calibrate the controller in the windows devices, he also told me that he was using an original Nintendo game cube controller. I think you have tried to do that it but anyway, just to confirm, did you try to calibrate the triggers and the analog mode in the windows devices, guys?
Thank you very much. Good Afternoon.
