Sure
how well though ... would i be able to raise the resolution and keep full fps?
Xenoblade should run fine , not full FPS all the time though
Max FPS PAL : 25 FPS
Max FPS NTSC : 30FPS
If you have PAL version , it should be around 23-25FPS
Max Setting for Nvidia GT 540M : 2.5x IR (1600x1320) , No AA , 16x AF
Also 8gb of Ram is wasteful , 4Gb of Ram is more than enough . Save the money for better CPU(i7-2760QM) if you want full speed all the time
As long as turbo boost stays stable at 3.1 it should do well
It won't happen . i7 2670qm @ 3.1Ghz is single core mode
He will get 2.8-2.9Ghz (2 cores) if he's lucky
soooooo... the specs i put up ... is that good or no? lol ... what is turbo boost and will 8 gb ram ruin it or are you just saying it's too much for what i need it for ...
by the way i'm using xenoblade ntsc if that makes any difference whatsoever
Well according to admin you wont get fullspeed all the time on xenoblade but it should still be playable along with a majority of other titles
isn't 25 to 30 fps basically how it is on the wii anyway?

Yup , you will have 26-30 FPS (NTSC)
That should be playable/enjoyable without lag
