Well i did a bit of a search before i posted this. Its not a super huge bug. but it gets annoying. My dolphin crashes randomly. Ive tried 3 different games. Mario Sunshine. Mark Kart Double Dash, Tales of Symphonia. All 3 will crash at some point. no specific time. sometimes after 10 minutes of playing, sometimes after an hour of playing. my PC specs are

Win7 64bit Pro
i7 950 3.07 ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 1gb
6gb DDR3 1600mhz

I was using Dolphin 3.0 and i was getting random crashes. I updated to Dolphin 3.0.587 and still same thing.

Using Direct3D9

on the General Tab
fullscreen resolution to 1920x1200. nothing checked but hide mouse cursor

Enhancments
2x native
NO anti aliasing
Anisotropic filtering to 4x
Scaled to EFB copy checked and res unchekced

Hacks Tab
Ignore Format Changes checked. basssicaly everything that the config wiki page tells me to have

and Advanced tab nothing is checked.

so is there something im missing? maybie a setting i need? or need to take off?

The settings are okay.

Which temperatures do you get, when you play with Dolphin? Check them with RealTemp/CoreTemp. Maybe your CPU overheats...
And try another Dolphin revision, e.g. the newest git version (3.0-589)
hmm il try that. i have rainmeter to monitor my cpu usage etc. and everyting peaks at liek 60? but i never really paid attention. and il do a run with realtemp runing to see. but i stream League of Legends and with xsplit and LoL and a browser open. my CPU temp never goes above 60. bnut like i said. il try what you suggested.
well i used the latest version of Dolphin. 3.0-589 and monitored my cpu temp. never went above like 66c? and i was playing Mario Sunshine. and after about 20 mins. i got the error "dolphin.exe has stopped working" and and had to close it down. i dont know what else to do... maybie its my resolution?
anyone? i still cant find a solution :/

Does it still occur with a different back end like D3D11?
Also try updating your directx and c++ runtimes
Try using a 32-bit version of dolphin
hmm. i didnt think about trying d311 cause i thought i read that it runs slower and has more problems. il try that too and i dont think i need to update any of those but il check. Thansk again for all the help everyone Smile
well i switched it to D311 and was testing Tales of Symphonia and after about 15 mins it crashed. had the internal res to 3x. still not sure whats causing my crashes
ive tried different internal resolutions. and the game still crashes... dont know why im the only one experiencing this....
