Cuddle Bats

How well would I be able to run Dolphin with this kind of laptop?

Intel Core i7 2860QM (2.5GHz, 3.6GHz with Turbo Boost, 8MB Cache)
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz (4DIMMS)
2GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon HD 6990M

I'd mostly just be playing GC games like Sunshine, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, but how would it play Skyward Sword?
Yeah, the CPU and GPU are quite ok for Dolphin. Most games will run well.

But don't expect too much: Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are heavy games. You won't get fullspeed afaik.
gaming and laptops
word combination is impossible
Nah, it should eat up wind waker and twilight princess with a few hiccups on SS
jeah...
but for that laptop
you would get
1x 2500k @ 4.4ghz...
and
1x normal laptop...
alone that cpu in that laptop costs about 500bucks
i would estimate that this thing costs about 1700bucks++

U for real?
dannzen doesn’t like the words gaming in combination with laptop Tongue

Anyway, this notebook mentioned above is a really good "gaming laptop" for PC games. For emulation, the laptop is decent enough Wink

Dell Inspiron 5110
OS: Win 7 Ultimate x86
CPU: Intel Core i5-2410M @ 2.30GHz with Turbo Boost, 8MB Cache
GPU: nVIDIA GeForce GT 525M
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Dolphin: 3.0-578 Dirty

when I click on ISO file it give a blank error popup, I already update directx and C++2010
I want to play Donkey kong country
Most games should run well. But not the heavy games like SMG, SMG2, Xenoblade etc.

concerning your iso error: Dump your game again Wink

I want to play Donkey kong country
3MB Cache not 8MB
As long as it turbo to 2.6Ghz when running Dolphin and it not overheat , you'll get 45-55 FPS (75-88% speed with DKCR)
Right-click the game inside dolphin - properties - Tick "Activate Vbeam"
