I've been focusing more on story based games (usually RPG or action/adventure) and multiplayer games (usually fps) these past few years. I find single player games often get boring after awhile with the unpredictability and true intelligence of human opponents. I still love oldschool games but those two modern genres are generally more fun for me.

I recommend you try out mass effect Gabriel.
Meh, I wouldn't pay full price for it. At least on pc the demo (of mass effect 3) feels like a mess. I have the demo also for XBox 360, but haven't played it. To me it felt a bit like they hadn't thought through being able to turn on powerups while being shot at etc.

HOW DARE YOU IGNORE THIS AMAZING GAME!?!

Mass Effect eh, well it certainly looks interesting enough for my taste.
Better try it out first just in case.

My problem is that it has no story, and I never do online without beating single player, and without having a really good reason to beat it I'll get distracted by another game. That's also the exact reason why HALO combat evolved anniversary hasn't been finished: I'd done HALO 1, and so had no reason to finish it plot wise, and battlefield 3 was at least as interesting gameplay wise.

yeah thats a problem that there is no story... bu I still love the gameplay of it.. and the music.. there would be a sequel but unfort Di$ney laid off the whole dev team so that means... I WILL F*CKING MURDER DI$NEY! and yeah.. the tracks are very repetitive and gets progressively boring.. but it is still a great stress relief! (if you are really angry for something go destroy a tower and smash 7 others...) as for the online it sucks really... more people want to just run like it is an ordinary racing game... I WANT ACTION!!

@Gabriel

After all these years of gaming I started losing interest of gaming and started being interested more on art and music... yep
Why murder Disney, when you could steal enough money from them to employ all the devs to make a sequel? You'd get revenge a sequel, and it would be more sensible than killing a dead nazi.

damn.. I should have thought this before... anyway if you watch the news someday and you see that someone has stolen all the money from the Di$ney headquarters, keep in mind that that was me! Tongue
I see, i'm sure turning in criminals has its reward too, i can report you now for conspiracy....
