Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi

First time using Dolphin, I've been searching around trying to learn how to improve the speed, but nothing really helped. I'm playing Pokemon Battle Revolution and during matches the speed is at 50% while the FPS is around 30. Using 3.0-578-dirty.

My specs:

Win7 64-bit
i7 860@2.8GHz
12GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 580

The settings I use:

Disable EURGB60 mode, Change IR to 2x or 3x and post screenshots of remaining settings

Thanks for the reply. Still have the same issue, these are my settings now:

Try "OpenMP Texture Decoder" and uncheck "Disable Fog".

and try to overclock your CPU

Speed is still stuck at 50% and 30 FPS :/

So it all comes down to my CPU being crap?

I don't have Limit by FPS ticked, and Framelimit is off.

Turn off V-Sync.

Well you're doing something wrong, your cpu shouldnt give you much trouble

Right now I have the exact same settings as the picture above, except "Disable fog" is unticked, "OpenMP Texture Decoder" is ticked and vsync is unticked. Still only at 50% speed and 30 fps :/ I don't really know how I could've done something wrong, I simply downloaded and extracted Dolphin. Are my settings fine, or did I miss something? Could the problem be the .iso or something else?
