Full Version: How to speed up dolphin if i have a powerful pc because im only getting 5 -10 fps

OVERCLOCK SOME MORE! With an e8400, it's so easy to overclock to 4ghz+ provided you aren't on the crappy stock "cooler" that intel provides.
The first I would do is checking the processes of the OS, close any heavy applications like antivirus or graphic design program.
Then check if there are viruses or worms on the computer, clean it if there is.
Check all options on Dolphin setting except Enable Cheat (if you don't use it), use OpenGL plugin, check Native resolution if you have too, turn off MSAA or reduce it.

thats how it was before except native resolution part i heard if u click on 2x it will be faster than native resolution
I wouldn't mess around with overclocking unless you are good with computers, as you can (usually not) kill your computer or corrupt data if you put in weird settings.

Also, do the games run OK other than the fact they are really slow? Notice anything that looks incorrect?

with the overclocking idea my pc fan sucks ill upgrade that later
also my pc requirements are pretty good how come the youtube videos are all faster than my dolphin and my pc is better why and i dont run much when playing games Angry Angry Angry
