Ive followed every step however when I try to load Gecko (main.dol or boot.elf - Gecko 1931) I keep getting No Dvd Found when I try to launch the game. The ISO is in my Dolphin games list and I can run it fine as Brawl with the Project M 2.1 logo. I make sure IOS36-64-v3608 is selected before I launch Gecko and the SD.raw file is in my Dolphin-win-x86-v3.0-716\User\Wii directory with the Nohomebrew files attached to it.

Any help?

Thanks

EDIT: Ignore you need to right click on the brawl iso and set it as the default ISO

Yes, that was the step you missed. That step is indeed described in this thread, btw. Good it's working now. Smile

i can load normal brawl flawlessly and project m with the saves and all, but after 5 or 10 minutes project m freezes every time in the middle of a fight, can some one helpme? i got not black screen or something, just the characters stop moving and the game freezes.
Change the Gecko Hooktype to "AXNextFrame" and see if it still freezes.
No news of Olimar and Snake crashing the game fix yet?
Unfortunately no. Also, it seems PT pokemon cause the same crash.

By the way, am I crazy or did Project M 2.5 increase the framerates from demo 2 by about 4-5fps, and from vBrawl by about 2fps? Maybe you guys don't notice, but my slow Athlon 2 notices.

For me Ganondorf crashes.

It's not that it increased, but it fixed the input lag on the game, though it still has a one frame physics lag, but it makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
Just made my new ISO of PJM 2.5B, works excellent. Really nice release, too. Big Grin

I'm just a bit disappointed that Bridge of Eldin is still missing. They took it out for some weird reason. Anyway to put it back? Maybe as a custom stage?

Edit: Seems they took out custom stages, too.

The input fix makes everything much smoother/faster, but I'm talking about actual fps. For example, I would get around 45 fps at Skyloft but now I get around 52. And it's not Skyloft alone, it's the overall game. My CPU isn't that great, so I notice changes like these immediately.

You could put it back by deleting Hyrule 64 or by replacing another stage with Hyrule 64 or with Eldin or. I did it to replace Mario Circuit with Luigi's Mansion, since I didn't want to delete or "move" Dracula's Castle because of all the custom songs and edited song text I have for it.

You basically use stage switcher to change a .rel file to match the stage you're replacing. Then you rename your stage file (the .PAC files found in the stage folder) to the name of the stage file you're replacing. After that you put the edited .rel in the "module" folder and the .pac in the "stage" folder. In order to get the .rel and .pac you need to either extract them from a vBrawl .ISO or look here (not all files are present, so you may not find them here).

It's not exactly an easy thing to do if you're new to Brawl hacking. I could post a much more detailed guide later if you want.
I see, so you could have multiple SD cards/ISOs with different stages then, if you really wanted, as a quick, temporarily fix until they find a suitable workaround for more stages. Also, do you know if the camera is proper when you swap a stage out like you described? It's just because I vaguely remember reading something on the Project M forum about stage swapping, but I actually cannot remember it clearly. It might be nothing important.
I guess you could have multiple ISO/SDs, yeah.

As far as I know, there are no camera glitches when changing stages. There are issues with stage-specific sound effects though. For example, I replaced Mario Circuit with Luigi's Mansion and the only problem is that there is no sfx for when the mansion is falling apart or regenerating.

Also, whatever you put over Hanenbow or Flat Zone will be flat. I think there was a code for this, but I'm not sure.
