Hey all,

I am new to Dolphin and I am experiencing a slight problem with Twilight Princess which I find annoying. When ingame sometimes it slows down very slightly as in the gameplay slows down as if its in slow motion. It doesn't slow too much but it is noticeable.

I was just wondering if anyone had the optimal settings for my hardware so that it doesn't slow down but still looks amazing.

My PC specs are as follows:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 3.2GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Thanks all in advance

Welcome Pikey,

You missed some keypoints you should've mentioned: your settings.
Where exactly are you getting these slowdowns?

Provide that, and we can start investigating.

Sorry I didn't realise when I posted it. Won't happen again boss! Wink
Use DX9. Should be slightly faster. Might reduce your "Enhancements" too
Hey Pikey,

To get started; switch your Graphics back-end to DX9. Next, raise your internal res to x4 (you can handle it), and lower your AA. (disabling = great speedup).
Last, but not least: in case of the GC version of the game, turn fast mipmaps off. (this will fix the sunrays).

Thank you very much I shall try this as soon as I've finished watching this film and let you know how it runs Smile
Works perfect now! Thanks all!
