As the tittle says, I have been using the release from the controller section, but sadly is bugged in lots of situations.
Will this even be oficially implemented? Hopefully that will mean that it gets implemented correctly and correct most of the issues that people is experimenting.
Thanks for the answer.
If it ever does get added, it will likely be in the same state it is in now until someone decides to try to improve it. Things can be done as soon tomorrow, or a year from now. There is just no way to know.
weird... taking into consideration that motion plus is the next big thing from Wii, I thought it would be a priority for the dolphin's devs...
It's a priority to make sure real Wiimotes with motion plus are working, not emulated ones.
It would be a really super-hardcore-ninja task - to play game with fully emulated motion plus. It's real chalenge to map your keyboard to existing controls... motion plus is just too much.
Since someone has so kindly fashioned an emulator for you, the least you could do is buy yourself a real wiimote

Keyboard - yeah, but most of wiimote + nunchuk games are perfectly playable with X360 gamepad.
Since the original wiimote is discontinued for many of us dolphin is unusable since only wii motion plus controllers are on the market. the other wiimotes without motion plus must be in the hands of vintage collectors.
What JP wrote is a great proof of concept. It impressively shows that even games which make use of all the motion+ features could be played well with only a keyboard. The implementation suffers from a few issues, tough (the IR cursor support needs to be fixed); also, I'm not 100% sure about the design. Especially, I'd do the hotkey assignment the other way round (not "do action A if key1 or key2 are pressed" but "do actions A, B, C if key1 is pressed").
So, I think it can work well and it will some day, the question is just how soon someone surfaces who wants to write it (I don't want to ;p).

Wii Motion Plus, even the new TR models are fully working, where is the problem?
