EFB RAM?
Texture, as always. This whole thread is just one big speed test overclocked with EFB to Texture.
Unfortunately one of my favorite games runs horrible on this machine. This one is out of the question.

Thanks man, again and agian and again!!
This really works!
Yep, if you safely overclock your processor, games will run faster.

Gildarts

Hey Starscream, you could post a ScreenShot of settings to 2.4 ?
I want to try, but i'm newbie with K10Stat ;3

Sorry for reviving the topic.
I had to raise the voltage to 1.0250 for my laptop to not reboot at 2.35GHz, so you will probably have to as well. 2.35GHz is at FID 31 and is the highest you can go without lowering your DID, so lets just stay with 2.35GHz to make it easy. 50MHz isn't going to make a difference anyway.

I also see you have the HD6520G which is the integrated GPU. Do you have a dedicated GPU as well, or just the HD6520G? If just the HD6520G, make sure you're using only 1xIR (internal resolution) and DX9 along with EFB to Texture for best speeds. I'll also mention again that if you overclock your CPU, you do so at your own risk. Keep your laptop cool, you shouldn't run at overclocked speeds if it's getting too hot. Good luck.

Overclocking also reduces the longevity of the CPU and voids the warranty.
Standard processor life: 20+ years
Properly OC'ed processor: 10+ years

There isn't any real danger to the life of your processor if you OC.

The warranty might be an issue, but that all depends on the terms of it. A "K" processor has a much looser warranty than a regular processor for example.
