using your new texture but same problem occur while crafting gem. only melia picture have changed while the other still same Huh, also grass and foliage texture not change as well.

im using DX9 version win7 32 bit

Your thread has inspired me to register and make my first post! Specifically, I've been having issue with trying to get the XBOX Controller retextures to work. I've tried yours and another persons, but I can only ever get the D-Pad and Start/Back buttons to show. Everything else is Wii default.

Am I missing something here? Dump textures is off.

I realized after posting that the image appeared way too large. A hyperlink to it instead. Also, I've tried out your full HD texture pack, and it seems to be touch and go on whether the portraits appear properly or not. It's fairly 50/50. The new font, however, appears to be consistent.

If you go to your skill or ability page, do they also there only update for melia/fiora. It is a issue I came across, for some reason it dumps different names for those on different instances of the game. I have been trying to get to the bottom of it, but with no luck. Can you send me your savegame please Smile

As for the grass, that must work, I specifically tested it in the Bionis Leg area, if possible go there and see if it works. Is your fonts are working?

I tested your savegame and my buttons are working correctly, not sure why yours arent. Have you cleaned out your dump textures folder, if I had the same issue as yours I could dump a separate bunch for the buttons, or If you dump them for me and send them I can whip up a pack for you.

As for your portaits, like I stated above, the way the game renders it. But it should be working in combat at most times, the only portrats for combat that I dont have are the ones for low afinity, only have a few of them so far, it takes a lot of time to stand around and get hit and dump all of them unfortionately.

How do I do what you're asking of me? I'm sort of new to this. Also, I don't mind missing the portraits, but I'd really like to get the buttons working.

EDIT: Oh, also, I almost forgot! I think your capital I is misaligned. For example, target an enemy and look at the arts text "Initiate attack". The capital "I" definitely needs to be moved over a pixel, but I personally fixed it for myself and placed it two pixels over (though three might be even better).

I have a critic, though. In my opinion, the grass is now too shiny/vivid, it's almost like some Unreal Engine 3 shaders had been used on them :p . It's almost wearying when the grass is exposed to the sun.

fonts working perfect. the picture only update for melia only even on ability and skill tree Undecided. image not change as well while save or load in gameplay

Weird issue for me. Maybe it's something to do with the emulator version i'm using (current lectrode builde in dev forums) but the I only get some of the new numbers to load. I thought I had grass working too but after turning off load custom textures it stayed the same. I get new portaits on the load screen though for some reason. Wonder what's up with this since Dump textures is off and load custom is on, using d3d9.

EDIT - GOT IT! Anyone having partial load issues make sure your texture cache is set to fast, not normal or safe.

Cool i will Fix the Capital I also, only had limited time to test it for myself, havent even played the game in over a week. If you want me to do the buttons for you, to dump them for me you need to do the following:
1. Make sure the ...\dolphin\User\Dump\Textures\SX4P01 folder is empty.
2. Load your game.
3. Enable dump textures, do everything you need to do ingame to see all the buttons that are not working for you.
4. Go into your ...\temp test\User\Dump\Textures\SX4P01 folder, there will be a bunch of files all over the place.
5. You will have to go through it, and take out all the Wii buttons there, those that arent getting replaced, and rar them together and send them to me.

Sorry there isnt really an easier way of doing it. Otherwise you can just delete the big files in the folder, and rar and send me the whole one if you are unsure.

Yeah i noticed in some situations it is quiet bright. Only thing I actually did was use the grass from the main menu of the game, since it is a higher resolution. Unfortionately the game overlays the textures or something with filters at certain times of the day. Been trying to get something that works all round, will maybe dim the tipps a bit?, since they are getting very bright insunlight, open to suggestions though, as I am mostly focussed on the UI.

The big portraits in the skill/ability/crafting trees I am aware of, everytime I fix them, they work for a bit. But the next day when I load again they have new names (oddly enough not Melia and Fiora) so I need to do it again, no idea how to permanentlly fix it. However, the small portrats on the sides and the save/load small portrats must work. I will try to take a look at your save when I get a moment.

Thanks for the input, I will play around with the setting! Everyone else having issues please try it aswell.

I figured out my issue with the buttons. It turns out that I have been playing the game, quite stupidly, with default Wii-Mote controls, unaware that I could bind my controller as a classic controller and play the game with greater functionality. All has been fixed. It only took me 50 hours to realize.

Oh haha, well at least now we know for the future, didnt even occur to me to check
