@messiagov, yeah i know that, and that font wasn't accurate then and is not accurate now, i already post what are the in game fonts, so there is no reason for not use them in a retexture project.


Alright, so I updated my English textures files. Nothing major, just some new ones for the arts menu and skill trees, as well as some other stuff, and I remade/edited some old ones that either weren't big enough, or were too big, like the story memo image (they looked shrunk even at highest res). I'm not too happy with the "HEAT" images, so those may be redone later (Heat images also seem to work randomly).

English Textures v1.5

*Some of the textures replace layberneth's stuff (like HP, AP, EXP, and some others), so be careful and keep the ones you prefer between the two.

I also finished the HD portraits of the official art. It includes small icons, gray icons (in battle future vision), guests and a much higher res affinity group picture. I didn't make affinity circles because my Photoshop is bad and I have no idea how to make those.

*different downloads so those who don't like the official artwork don't have to bother with the extra 60mb.

Increible! Piensas hacer las imagenes de batalla (no se como el juego les llama en español Undecided) de los personajes principales también?

En eso me quede pero el problema es que las fuentes son de paga o eso recuerdo X_x la idea es crear los .psd y subirlos junto a las fuentes por si alguien quiere aportar esas imagenes en otros idiomas se le haga facil, de lo contrario subiria las imagenes solamente en .png y en idoma español SadSad lo cual se me hace un tanto egoista

just posting to give my support ..keep it up.. looks like i chose the right time to check in on Xenoblade+dolphin progress in terms of compatability. I used ot have crashing issues. got a new comp now si decided to give it a go again.

Cant wait till ya can get some nice crisp face textures done and ground textures like rockfaces, cliffs, paths etc.

I like the look of the HD UI chnages but for me personaly, i like to see HD textures on the 3d stuff, like armor etc ..armor seems ok in the game though its the environment and npc/pc faces that suffers most imo.

We can only go so far with 3D stuff. While, 3D remodeling is certainly not out of question, it would be a lot of work and certainly be beyond the capabilities of most people here. So in that sense, you probably won't get the polished looks of modern PC games.
Anyway, we can increase the quality of the armor (I think I can to a point), but we need the dump for the armors. I can do only so many with the current amount of armor dumps. As for faces, I recently released an improved face textures for a good number of the NPCs and all the main characters.
Ground textures will also require dumps. We need people to just play the game and dump the textures for us. Yes, we may have a very good texture dump already from messiahgov, but it doesn't cover the game 100%. I'd say about 70%.

You can check everything we've done so far in the quote below. Until we make a new thread (I'll be working on a new thread once I get further permission from Starscream), I'll be quoting everything done.

When installing Xenxe's HD Art icons or Alekzanderk's HD Art icons, copy all the textures you don't want FIRST, then copy the ones you want SECOND (so that the one you want overwrites the other. It will also fill in missing textures from both sides).

Alekzanderk's Retexture Set: This should have the bulk of retextures as it retextures almost everything from UI menus to Arts icon set.

Las fuentes las podes crear a partir de los PNG que te permiten bajar de las paginas como se hizo con el Tales of Symphonia ( fijate aca ), por ahi tendrias que preguntarle a rowan_G como hizo, yo le consegui la fuente pero el hizo el trabajo en 2 segundos, ademas tene en cuenta la fuente para los numeros por ejemplo es gratuita te dejo el link de nuevo, esa es una parte visible que se podría arreglar rápido, lo mismo que la helvetica, aca te dejo el link, en cuanto a lo que decís, es verdad, pero onda que no podes hacer todo vos solo, todo el mundo pide cosas pero nadie ni siquiera sube los dumps de las texturas en el proceso de síntesis para mi no tienen derecho a quejarse que se yo, pero bueno es tu proyecto no voy a venir yo a decirte como tenes que hacerlo Tongue

English resume because im lazy:

i tell him that he can redraw the fonts from the PNG that he can get from the preview font pages, and i let him some links to the TTF fonts.
Also i tell him that dont worry about leechers that dont even upload a dump and come here asking for things just for the face, and he dont have to do the retexture of ALL text in the game, if some one care about it at least give to him a little help.

how does one applymultiple upgrades ?

Do you have to put all the image files into the texture folder under SX4P01folder, but after that they can be in any subfolder ?? So say i put in the OP mod then want face release 2.5 ..where do i put the face release and does it stay in its own subfolder ?
Yeah, you can have as many subfolders as you want as long as they're all inside SX4P01.

Ah great that makes things simple ..well sort of.

Dont supose you know a way of extracting everything from a rar without putting them in the rar's subfolders ..i want to overwrite some files from Alekzanderk's Retexture Set with ones from Xenxe's HD Art icon set and Skyrim HD Grass texture. For quality and language reasons. Alekzanderk's one is not english as far as i can tell when it comes to the wording.

Otherwise its gunan take for ever to find where each texture is located in Alekzandaerks pack as ith as many subfolders.

EDIT: Nevermind i done it the long way ..un rar'd then went through each folder and dragged each ones contents to the main one, wil be much easier replacing files now.
Does this work with the US-Version and any plans to release a new update?
