Hi,
You've done terrific job - now Xenoblade looks like a HD title.
I found one issue however - in Colony 6 next to the entrance to the Ether Mine the grass in the medium distance has blue color. This is only during the night. Grass in Colony 9 looks ok.
Here's the screenshot:

Thanks for your work on this!
Right now I'm about finishing with Alcamoth (should go to Valak now). That means, every possible texture from the beginning to Alcamoth should be included in my German texture dump, with "EFB Copies: Texture" and "Texture Cache: Safe", if this makes any difference. I made every possible quest I could find, spoke with all npcs I could find at day & night, all possible Colony 6 stages, all maps explored with no fog anywhere (sometimes some little corners can't be explored, but there is nothing). I will upload this as pack 1 of 2 or 3. Includes about 21000 textures - German localization, but the most of the textures should be working for any other localization too, I think. It's just a dump, nothing is retextured, but it can be used as a base for designers. If you retexture a texture which has duplicates, always retexture them all, so that they will appear in any situation. My own old, renamed package (will work for German) from Version 02 can be found at "
Post #109". But I think slmpika could release a more complete retexture soon, so my renamed upload would be obsolete.
Here's the Dump from Xenoblade, Beginning to Alcamoth end. I recommend to use the program "
PictureRelate" (Freeware) to find duplicated textures etc. It's very easy and handy, I deleted my ingame savegame pictures from this package with Picturerelate and tested it a bit, tried to find all those circled relation pictures etc. and it worked very good. Try it to bring order into the chaos. I will make this with my complete dump, not now.

Mediafire: Part1 | Part2 | Part3 | Part4
Zippyshare: Part1 | Part2 | Part3 | Part4
Interchangeable, 7-Zip, packed 305 MB (4x 77 MB) and unpacked 365 MB. Zippyshare is fast, but don't use JDownloader (gets detected as offline, but it isn't), just use the browser.
I hope it helps a bit to catch all duplicates and find all textures which could be retextured etc.

All Textures working great. Only the small portraits do not show up on save file load screen.
Hello,
Everything loads fine (grass, portraits, text) but I have issues with grass. Nothing loaded in Colony 9 so I went all the way through on my NG+ to Bionis Leg and the grass textures loaded so I assume nothing was included in the texture pack for Colony 9 (I use DX9 with fast texture cache so I think I haven't done anything wrong).
But the grass here looks really too bright during daytime, to the point where I wonder if it's a bug or if it was intentionally made this way (although it might not look that awful on the screenshot but it gets really annoying when I play), and everything looks blue at a distance, both day and night.
Anyway I appreciate your job thanks for making this game even better !

Hmm, it looks like everyone seems to be having problems with the grass in the distance. For now, just delete that texture from the folder if you want to continue playing with the retexture pack.
I will investigate this further as well as release a fonts update in 2 weeks once I have some free time again.

SKYRIM HD GRASS TEXTURE IMPORT[/color]
I have created new grass textures. Well not create, but imported, all the grass textures (flat base, standing, wheat, flowers, bushes). They are imported from the Skyrim HD Texture Pack. I am working on a bunch of others as well but mostly a work in progress. I am still using a new save file and will need to download different saves from different areas of the game so I can dump more textures. Also spiced up the title screen a bit more as well. I will post download links to my different packs soon. I also changed the Story Memo graphic, darkened Fiora's hair a bit, in the process of retexturing Shulk's hair, working on blending the grass textures with path and beach textures so they flesh well, and a ton of other 'in process' textures. Will update as often as my schedule permits me.

Bad day for fiora and shulk?
No offense, but they look overfiltered ugly to me.
They are not filtered. I hand drew over them using my tablet. But I definitely see what you are talking about. Thanks for your input. I want as much input from here as possible.

Tell me if you need my savegame, I'm finished with Valak on the way to Sword Valley. My last upload of dumped textures include everything from beginning to the end of Alcamoth. All included textures, except the German localization files, should be the same you're trying to dump I think. I use the PAL, 30 FPS patched version. The download is some post ago, maybe it's helpful for you. I was too thinking about Skyrim textures from various Nexus packs, but I'm too lazy and want to play Xenoblade more than modding. ^^ But I dump everything that comes along my way through Xenoblade.
Thanks I will download your save. I am actually using the NTSC USA version. Its what I bought from the store, but using the textures in the PAL version is as easy as just renaming the files. Thankfully I have already renamed them all and have uploaded both versions so it can reach out to as many people as possible.
