I think you should start compiling Dolphin from this branch - http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/source/list?name=texcache-revert
Rewritten texcache does more harm than good and having the latest version minus these changes would be the most beneficial.

Well, I can't compile anything atm. I just get errors, I think it's because there is no stable/complete x64 build of Git for Windows yet, I am using the 32-bit build which I think may be causing problems. Even after making the changes Neobrain instructed on Googlecode I am still getting errors.

I don't think it's related, what errors are you getting anyway? It's been a while since I last used msysgit but I might be able to help.

That has nothing to do with audio stuttering. Try unchecking Audio Throttle and/or switching to the Dsound backend as that may fix the stuttering issue.
So it -should- fix the weird distortion that happens sometimes and the sound kind of gets overlapped with static? Atleast, that's what the patch is supposed to be doing right? I'll try it out then. It's not extremely common but it happens to me now with HLE, I can't keep LLE up.

Sigh, since the change to Git I am going to have to manually re-integrate all patches once I can get a build to compile successfully.

So I'm sorry if this has already been asked or posted but right now I can't do anything else but post (If i use the search function I get stuck in an infinite loop of logging in as well as downloading attached files). But I recently downloaded Xenoblade Chronicles and am having trouble with it, I was able to find a thread with a "patch" but couldnt download it, so I followed the link to this thread posted by you xtreme and downloaded your latest x64 build. What options should I have to get rid of that choppy audio? Also Running an AMD pehnom II x4 965 overclocked to 3.9 Ghz, 8 gigs of DDR3 and a Radeon 5870 if that helps at all. I also seem to be experiencing frequent stuttering too

Have you tried switching to Xaudio2? I've found that yields much better results in the late versions on alot of games that produce crackling, stuttering audio.

huh? I don't see the link between switching to git and needing to reintegrate patches.. the source code didn't change at all (apart from the revert of texcache-rewrite).
