hi

i updated my dolphin to "Dolphin X64 SSE4.2 SVN Revision 6974".

am i blind or isnt there any more the "donkey kong country returns projection hack"? my last build was r6888M from here (Xtreme2damax).

btw, thx for this great community!

greets,
haxn
It's not possible to add those in the latest revisions as the old method for phacks is no longer compatible, there was a new method (Custom Projection Hack) added that should be more useful. Going to have to wait until someone figures out the correct values.

I ask myself and others, why bother with projection hacks when the developers can just fix the issues and eliminate the need for projection hacks?
thx 4 the fast answer Exclamation
There is no way for me to do it without reverting the current code. It is being discussed currently to allow the new method and keep the old method of selecting phacks from the drop down. Once the former method is re-implemented I can piece the code back in for the Donkey Kong and Tales of Symphonia projection hacks.
hiho,

they added the projection hacks again in "r7025". but i dont know why there isnt the donkeykongreturns-hack.
so i wait for ure next build, xtreme2damax Wink

With your optimized builds, i finally managed to play at an acceptable framerate! Thanks a lot Xtreme2damax!
I have an i5 750, and i got the SSE4.2 SVN Revision 6974 from the site, and it seems kinda slower than the regular build (I'm getting on average about 5 frames less per second). what am i missing?

the newest builds are improved. 6974 is already old.
huh? on the site where the optimized downloads are 6974 is the most recent. and it's compared to a regular build r6819.
The optimized builds are faster, you haven't configured something right. I get about a 10 FPS - 15 FPS with NSMB and EFB to Ram enabled over the regular builds.

Anyways just got r7095 uploaded, no optimized builds for now. The OpenAL audio backend is selectable again in my builds.
