It's a lot cheaper if I was to get a Gamecube and a PS2 and play the games I want lol no way in hell I'm doing this.

_Old Wii : support GC games (200$)
_New Wii : not support GC games (150$)

If you want to play in HD 1080p then save money to buy WiiU .However Wii game is still 480p and no support GC

I don't care to much about something looking hi def, so long as I can enjoy it. My 360 hooked up to my PC monitor, there isn't much difference(there is some) but doesn't really matter.

Why can't the new Wii's play GC games?

Then do that. But of course you'll miss out on the advantages of using an emulator such as higher image quality and custom input devices.

Probably cheaper to manufacture without the extra chips needed for GC support. At least that's what happened with the PS3.

The bottom line is that if you don't have the proper hardware or the money and will to buy it, you are better off playing games on the actual Nintendo hardware. What I don't know about? I've been working with emulators since the beginning of Project 64. The hell you talking about "what I don't know about"?

Saying that I refuse to spend about 800-1500k just to play GC/Wii games in hi res isn't "spewing nonsense", it's being logical, because only an idiot would go out their way to spend that much just to play GC/Wii games on their PC. Not dissing the team who made the emulator, as its great to see a GC emulator, but making it so that the emulator require a lot more resources just to suit up gameplay and make it better than Nintendo is a bit crazy to say the least. And if that isn't the case, it's still moronic to spend that much to play GC/PS2/Wii games on the PC when what I have can play PC games that are more demanding than the GC itself.
