When I select this MMU speed hack thing it just shows a black screen and doesn't load the game at all.

Try with older revisions as suggested in the thread. If it doesn't work change your iso/dump...

Trying another ISO now. Previous versions of Dolphin don't work either.

The game works fine here but you ain't the first one with this issue. Post your settings maybe...

If somebody tells me how I edit posts I will.

You apparently need 10 posts to get the "Edit option" but you should be able to attach your settings in a post by capturing them for example. Or you can list them but it's a more tedious solution

Trying Dolphin 2.0 now. FPS stays between 500 and 600, with VPS at 60 and 100% speed.

Still stuck on the start (copyright info) screen.
