Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Does anyone have any news about Nintendo's new gen console? Because only thing I seen and heard was the new Wii-U, and I am sure that's not really it. Because I only heard of Sony's new Virtual System (Playstation 4). And if Nintendo copies the direction Sony is taking, what games would you like to be released on it. Mines would be mostly all Horror games, for example (RESIDENT EVIL & SILENT HILL SERIES).

And yes that's a 8th generation console. In which planet were you during the last 6 months?

Scarface, GameFaqs is wrong Wii-U is in the eighth generation of consoles just as PSP Vita and 3DS and not in the "current" seventh as they want it to.

Right now I am extremely interested in what Sony/MS will do. Because, while Wii U's power may still be a little underpowered for its time, it's not like Sony/MS will be able to impress with massive graphics beatdown, unless they go expensive and lose money. And their current consoled already supports advanced extensions such as Kinect/Move, so for these kinds of things there may not be much need for a new console. So if they want to impress/make sense with a new console, they will have to push something spectacular.

I've read that there won't be a new xbox till 2013 and a new ps till 2015.

Anyway weren't Wii U supposed to be "only" as powerful as PS3/XBOX 360?

No, it is suppose to be 1.5 as powerful.
