Old Thread Title: "neobrain please read this (others may read it too lols)"

I don't want to start another debate around this widely discussed matter so I'm posting on Delfino Plaza so hopefully only non-dumb/noob/retard users see this
(Also because I want to be funny and I'm feeling idiot enough for this tonight )
But I hear neobrain won't reimplement the config profiles ever again and as search has led me to nothing, I'd like to know the reason.

I think the easiest answer is that some of the developers didn't like it. Seeing how they are the people adding these features, they're free to remove them as well.
