You do need a sandy bridge cpu if you want the framerate to not drop when there are lots of monsters, it doesn't need to be overclocked but I don't think you can do it with any other architecture (maybe an overclocked nehalem).

I got it running at 25-32 FPS with game speed of 85-100. Wish it could be 90-100 then it would be perfect!

Got it running pretty smoothly, it FPS drops from 28 to 20-22 when I faced that underwater beast Lagia something. FPS drops about 5 when I face lots of enemies and bigger ones like Great Jaggi.

Anyone got optimal low FPS configuration for Dolphin?[/size]
We already told you that you need better hardware, there are no magic settings that give you perfect fps all the time.
Managed to get steady 30 FPS, no matter how many monsters are on my screen with an older Dolphin version.
