Total cost for a new laptop (without 2.5' HDD price ) : 610 USD no less . That laptop must be a refurbished one or 2nd or the older gen i5
Yeah, I think it was first gen, in fact it was your laptop xD. I wouldn't mind buying the same model as you, I swear all the laptops I was previously looking at are now deactivated (asus g73jh, yours xD)

Seems I am learning something from you.
Hey, how does Llano's performance stack up against bulldozer's?
Better?
Worse?
Identical?
Better (with the exception of highly multithreaded software). Which I find hilarious since llano is supposed to be aimed at low budget systems and bulldozer is supposed to be aimed at high budget systems. It takes a truly catastrophic f*ck up to make your high end product worse than your low end product.
Problem is that Llano uses slower Athlon II cores so it's no way compared to top CPUs. It's close to E6400, in some tasks it's slower, in others it's faster.
Actually llano uses husky cores (which are used in thuban, better known as phenom II X6). These cores are MUCH faster than bulldozer cores. Comparing llano to an E6400 makes no sense, llano is an entire family of desktop and laptop microprocessors, which specific model are you comparing? Most of the models are quad core, run at much higher frequencies and have similar IPC to an E6400, they should leave it in the dust in any test.
I have Asus A53SV right now, i5 2430M processor @ 2.4 GHz (Up to 3GHz with Intel Turbo Technology), GeForce 540M.
Most games I've tried run pretty much perfectly (DKCR, SMG2, SMG1, SPM, ZTP, ZWW, ZTP [GC], PM TYD [GC]). Sure there are minor slowdowns in the more complex levels of SMG2 and Hyrule field in TP, but overall Everything is smooth.
