A. Hertz
B. Kilohertz
C. Megahertz
D. Gigahertz

The answer was B, I shit you not. Besides the fact that they are all the same unit of measurement, hertz, cpu speed is not measured in hertz, it is usually measured in MIPS or FLOP/s. That question was so retarded that I still remember it to this day. But that was just one of dozens of equally retarded questions.

WUT, that would be the last thing I picked XD

My point exactly.

Quote:But does having this certificates actually makes any decent difference on your resumé? Cause if it does it might be worth the pain. Or do the companies know it ain't worth shit?

Reread these lines and tell me what you think:

Quote:Microsoft tried to parade the exam around like it's a requirement in the industry yet the industry doesn't even look at it or care that you have it.
Quote:These horror stories included people coming away with a certification confident in getting a job only to realize that all of the employers that they submitted applications to don't care about it at all.
Quote:but I would certainly not recommend it to anyone, it's a waste of time and money, nothing more.
Quote:Many of them are scams designed to take away money from the desperate only to provide a useless certification or unaccredited degree.

i had no such issues with my educations....

...then again, the teacher was a pc technician and the other one was a server administrator XD
Well, i think you just have to go to the right place to get the education, i'm currently learning A+ myself not at a any vocational school but from the web, i have a few books as well as tutorial videos from companies like LYNDA, TRAIN SIGNAL and CBT NUGGETS, they imo explain stuff easily and pretty much easy to understand. Still though, the number one thing you employer needs is your degree, all these other certificates are just accessories for complimenting the degree.

I'm just warning you now, employers really don't care or even look at your A+ certification, it's a waste of money regardless of where/how you get it.
