Depends on the game. RTS games and a few modern FPS games like BF3 will benefit the most. For most modern pc games you actually won't see any difference in performance between those two cpus, you will however see a big difference in performance based on what GPU you have. Dolphin on the other hand will gain a significant performance advantage from the pentium (sandy bridge). And please put (sandy bridge) next to pentium, pentium is a box name that refers to various cpus from various processor families made over the last 19 years, pentium (sandy bridge) would inform someone of which specific family of pentium processors you're talking about.
