Hey guys for some reason I can't seem to get Sonic 4 to run smooth. The framerate keeps dropping to the 50's and 40's and even sometimes the 30's. My setting are what are recommended on the performace guide on the dolphin wiki. Is there something I need to change to fix this problem? Hopefully you can see my laptop specs on my profile.

Well I wish mine did I don't know what the problem is. Is there a certain setting I need to change?

Hmmm... Well let me show you what my settings are :
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
Enable Cheats (won't affect this only if you want cheats)
Frame limit 85
JIT Recompiler
Lock Threads to Cores
Direct3D11
Internal Resolution : 2x Native
Anisotropic Filtering 16x
Skip EFB Acces to CPU
OpenMP Texture Decoder
The rest just leave them as they are
change that ir to 1x and anisotropic filtering to 1x

Still wsorks good mabye his computer specs are too low. Heck except for Sonic Colors all my games run above 30FPS

Ok I used that program along with some of SaiyanElite55's settings and Normally my laptop is in the 50's and when using dolphin it goes into the 60's with some going into the high 60's
Man I wish this game would run at 60fps constantly. I don't see why not its only a 2d game I can run the latest 3d games and they run fantastic, but I guess its because im trying to run a wii game on a laptop, even though its a pretty powerful laptop.
