lol when I read that question I first thought it'd be some kind of early april's fool :p

As for making the hack an option: That is not really up to discussion for obvious reasons.

Ha ha you should know that I'm not the type that jokes about things like this.
I was kinda serious when I wrote that question, but I guess the question could be interpreted in several ways.

And why would you need more money, I caught you in Germany driving this last week:

Illegal driving can be dangerous!
Better watch out
I'm bumping this thread since the build in HawaiianPunch post apparently can't work the HD texture pack without crashing since it's older than 3.0-645 and don't support 2K textures. I would appreciate it if anyone can recompile a newer build with shuffle2 patch which can be found here applied.
User lamedude sent me a build that he made and asked me to test it.

It works great, here a pic:

The build can be downloaded from here (64-bit):

Just unpack the .7z file above into the dolphin folder and it should works fine.
But...neobrain already made a post here that does the exact same thing >.>

i for one read the whole thread and didn't find a way to play this without the heat wave effect unless i would use a horrible outdated build.
The patch can be applied to any recent build (I guess so anyway, I haven't actually checked). You'll have to compile Dolphin yourself though.

Shaduy

Im really sorry for digging that thread out of his grave but could someone please apply that patch to the new 4.0.2 Version of Dolphin?
New 4.0.2? You might rather want it applied to the latest dev build. 4.0.2 is damn old.
