That's not what he means. It doesn't come with the latest revisions of DX9/DX10

why should it? it has DX11. and afaik DX11 is the latest DX version and not 10 ...

Trust me, I am using Windows 7 RC2 x64 and it would not work until I installed the latest Directx 9 redistributable.
It doesn't matter what version of Directx you have installed, it matters what version is compatable with the emulator and that version is DirectX 9.

Because absolutely nothing uses DX11 yet? There's no reason not to include the very latest versions of DX9 and DX10 as they are widely used these days. I hope it's something the include in the release of the OS, or at the very least start adding DX updates to Windows Update.
I use windows 7 RC 7100 64bit and it runs fine.
