Don't try this if you're not a technician :
_Disassemble your laptop
_Clean the heatsink with autosol if your laptop was used more than 1 year

_Apply new thermal compound , i suggest the aftermarket one : Arctic Cooling MX-2/MX-3/MX-4
_Search your laptop model via youtube for tutorial . Example

lol, and get a new heatsink

GeForce 420m 4gb video ram
8gb ram i3 2.40 GHz
Intel® HD Graphics
which if im reading the post properly i see a pattern it finds intel but not geforce?
i found it to any one who has an intel HD Graphics card you need to up date your intel card not your other one i got my up date from nvidia no idea why but they had my intel card drivers there that should fix the problem i when from 10 fps speed 40 to 40fps speed 98

I have GT 540M too. since this GPU was shipped with optimus technology and that means don't consume power.

when this feature is on and you was trying the run the emulator, the emulator will use the integrated graphics.

Solution: Put the charger in ur laptop and run the emulator again. it will use Nvidia GPU.

Hope this helps
This is true sometimes Wink but you need to work on your english XD
