I dont think minimap will show with the hack, even if other things are corrected which are needed for minimap ( proper efb )
Devs will need to figure out the cause of the slowdowns and fix that so we dont have to use the projections hacks, and then we will have the minimap Smile

The cause of this slowdown and the minimap are two different problems. Enabling the hack just changes the projection. Now, I'm not sure EXACTLY how it works, but projection happens at a different stage of the frame processing. The minimap is drawn to the EFB, and currently there is no EFB Reading going on. So the EFB currently just gets dropped from the frame essentially. So if it's not getting read, then it doesn't get written to the frame to pass to the GPU and isn't displayed on the screen.

I agree with that, what I meant is that for some reason projection hacks mess with efb reading, even if its implemented properly. This can easily be tested with opengl plugin which has proper efb reading
Hello people,

i just don't see the option to enable the bloom hack under the dx9 plugin settings. Where am i going wrong? Smile

It's not in the plugin settings, you have to right click the game and go to properties.
Just wanted to verify, is anyone else experiencing a line down the middle of the screen using DX9? On the left side of the line it's very pixelated, while the right side of the line is not. I thought this was a issue only with OpenGL, but I'm not getting any graphical boost, as far as it looks using DX9. And yes, I am using the Bloom Hack. Any ideas? Sorry, if this has been posted before.

With this type of issue I was having, I didn't think that my PC specs would actually benefit anyone because it's a graphically error in-game and not an actual slow down. But evidentally I won't get any support, and further questions until I do so.
