it is RVL-CNT-01 only ,

thats what it says in the bluetooth

what does that mean?

theres no TR
That means you have the one wii mote that many people report is the best and working LOL I know that does not help.

There must be something fundamental you have wrong.

Now I do believe the Dolphin has case the bar set to be weaker. but if you can't get anything to work with bright lights then I'm not sure?

I tried the wireless bar, no good
then the candles, didnt work.
then two 50 watt lights, and that made thing semi-work.
Also pointing at the screen didnt do it, I had to find the sweet spot by pointing around the room for 20 minutes. All of a sudden bam there was the cursor.

hmm weird so its not the remote ? maybe the ir sensor im using is not compatible with the pc ? even the candles wont do it .. do they ?
LOL dude, the sensor bar is not a computer device per-say, its just lights. The wireless means its ran on batteries. The computer does not know its there. No its not the remote.

oh ok . thanks bro .. but what should i do ???
1) get the wii bar that comes with the wii. Its cheep on ebay. It runs of of 12 volts. So to use it you need a wii or need to convert the cable over to a power supply, supplying 12 volts.

2) make sure you have two 50 watt lights on either side of the monitor. Make sure you are around 5 feet - 8 feet back. Slow move the wii mote around the room with in a 90 deg cone of the TV until you see the cursor. Test with a game reported to work with IR.

Other than that I'm no able to help you much.

what if i convert the wireless ir to usb will my pc detect it ?
nanito13, dude man come-on... LOL. ITS NOT A USB DEVICE! ;P

there are no usb components on it, there are no ICU's on it, its just a simple circuit board with bright IR lights. You can literally build this thing from parts at radio shack. If this was a USB device why woudl people recommend candles? Think about it. The bars that connect to USB only use pins 1 and 4 ( power and ground ) Pins 2 and 3 are the usb data lines and are not even connected.

The wireless bars are crap and week. They may work for some but not all people. Dolphin is not a 100% replica of the wii, so its not going to be a good comparison. You need a bar that puts out 950 nms at best. The OEM bar from the wii does this. I'm not saying it will fix your issue, but I am saying what you have is not good enough.
