Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello, I recently started playing SS and was wondering if I could somehow increase my fps. I had decent fps before I hit a new area which dropped my fps to 20ish.

I'm on a AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2GHz
Windows 7 32 bit
8 GB of Ram but 3.25 GB usable
ATI Radeon HD 4550

I don't know what else to provide.

If I can't change anything in my options to increase fps would buying a better video card increase performance? Or is it my processor that is the problem?

Your graphics card should be fine at native internal resolution. Either overclock your cpu or upgrade to sandy bridge.
