what im going to say is absolutely outrageous...and unfortunately,i think that its also real...posting a video on youtube or anywhere else of a copyrighted song, it will send you in jail for 5 YEARS!!! but that wasnt the most outrageous part...EVEN IF YOU ARE POSTING A VIDEO WHEN YOU ARE SINGING THIS PARTICULAR "COPYRIGHTED"SONG IT WILL SEND YOU IN JAIL FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME!!!OMG!!!

Well I hope we'll be given a "chart" with what we're allowed to do and what we're not because it seems easy to take 5 years from now on Wink

If it will be real it opens a path to IRL DDoS attack - what if 10 million people will upload copyshitted stuff at same time ? They don't have enough jails nor they have enough judges XD

Also massive boycotting of those companies will eventually take them down and that will be good. It will take the stuff to what it must be - small recording labels, videogame companies, movie studios and it will result in quality music, games, movies. Smaller companies can't afford to make a shitty movie for a triple price of international space station. Nor they have money to sponsor someone's girlfriend who just got nice ass but sings worse than a cat that got his tail stuck in a mouse trap.

When such a project is elaborated I suppose means are given to apply it... And their aim is not to fill jails. Their aim is to discourage people to fill jails Wink
Still Vador, they won't be able to apply this long enough to frighten people if they start doing it for protest as in that example. There are things that are beyond the capabilities of the law. Censoring the internet is one of them. The world is formed by people, if the government fucks with people they will stop obeying them, just because they have fancy job names doesn't mean they have power. Power is only achieved with either fear or respect. They can't use fear, since people is becoming less dumb within the centuries, specially on rich countries. So their only choice is to earn respect. If they don't, well, I want to see them trying to fit 10 milion ppl in jail.

It's the same old story, the king commands thousands of people yet he is just one. The only power he has is because people obey him. If they stop doing it he is just a fool with a crown.

words of wisdom Wink
Dunno how much this has to do with SOPA/PIPA, but MegaUpload was just shut down by US Feds. Is this a small taste of things to come? I honestly hope not. We're already doing things like this to the internet, and SOPA hasn't even passed yet. It'll only get worse if Big Content isn't stopped.
