I guess they can't black out, they are too big and important. But if I were Google's CEO I would blackout it, I'd like to see (and show SOPA guys) how the world would do without google's blessings.

They finally talked about SOPA in a news station here and it wasnt even completely focusing on SOPA, just about how Wikipedia will be shutting down for 24 hours and the reason was because of an anti-piracy bill, they didnt even utter the words SOPA feels like someone dosent want this being announced on a large scale on TV

jimmy wales is gonna be on NewsNight on BBC to explain why wiki will blackout. hopefully he'll explain a lot of things the media hasn't talked about

Absolutely. 99% of people have stopped to the name. So you can hear either "fuck it" or "great idea" depends on which side you are
