To be fair you're asking a question that nobody could actually answer. Doing so would require a time machine. If some dev figures out how to fix it they will, if nobody manages to figure it out then it will stay broken, it's as simple as that. So if you're asking whether it will ever be fixed or not, nobody knows, and anybody who says they know is either lying or stating their opinion as fact.

Now you could ask do we think/believe that it will get fixed, but that's more of a question about ones general level of faith in the devs/project overall. I think it probably will eventually be fixed to the point where it is perfectly stable, but if I had to guess, not for a long time. Skid would probably be the most likely dev to fix this type of issue, but he's been very busy lately.
