Could someone give an example of minimum specs I'd need to run Skyward Sword in 1080p with some AA and other effects?
I apologize if I sound like I have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm really new here. I don't need to go completely overboard with it, but I want it to look good enough that it's worth emulating rather than just playing it on a Wii.

Is 9xSSAA a big enough difference that I'd really need to use it?
Quote:1x internal resolution (IR)
(.33MP, 1x scale in each direction)
Nvidia: 8600GT (an 8500GT is sufficient for some games but not all)
ATI:
1.5x internal resolution
(.75MP, 1.5x scale in each direction)
Nvidia:
ATI: 5450 (1.0MP))
2x internal resolution or 1x internal resolution + 4xSSAA
(1.33MP, 2x scale in each direction)
Nvidia: 8600 GTS
ATI: 6450 (1.5MP)
2.5x internal resolution
(2.1MP, 2.5x scale in each direction)
Nvidia:
ATI:
3x internal resolution or 1x internal resolution + 9xSSAA or 1.5x internal resolution + 4xSSAA

-At the moment nothing exists that can take this level of punishment with the more demanding games.
4x internal resolution + 4xSSAA
(21.33MP, 8x scale in each direction)

3x internal resolution + 9xSSAA

4x internal resolution + 9xSSAA
(48.0MP, 12x scale in each direction)

1x IR = native Res
2x IR = 720p
3x IR = 1080p
For the CPU :
i3 2100 is ok for most games
i5 2400 is good
i5 2500k (overclocked) run all games fullspeed
Thanks guys.
Is 9xSSAA in 1080p worth the money difference over 4xSSAA?
9xSSAA won't perform well with an internal resolution higher than native on any graphics card, and the 4xSSAA shader is broken and probably won't ever be fixed. It's best to just stay away from SSAA altogether. I really should work on that chart....it's way off right now.

So basically, Skyward Sword can only be played properly with no Anti Alias at all?
Yup. Unless you know how to apply FXAA which is what I use, but that requires 3rd party software.
AA for what? Internal Resolution in 3x/4x is the solution =P.
Salu2 - Darkness Knight
Would the HIS 6570 IceQ be a viable choice for a graphics card to run this?
