Assuming I am running a 64bit OS with 4gb of RAM and a 1gb video card, what would be the cheapest processor that could run 4-player melee at 60fps? Thanks
Overclocked i5 2500K.

are you sure that isn't overkill? I mean, this dude gets 100% 1080p with an overclocked quad

granted, that is only 3 player on FD. but still
-Pal version
-Dolphin R6225, older faster revision
-3 players on FD

Maintaining 60fps on dolphin 3.0 with 4 players is going to be harder.
i3 2100
Yeah actually come to think of it that would probably do the job. I just have a habit of recommending the i5 2500k to everyone because it has the best performance per dollar of any cpu at the moment.

Natural Violence can i play SSBM whit 4 players full speed?

i7 2600 3.8 ghz
4 gb ddr3 1333 mhz
ati radeon 5770
no because you can't overclock
@brutal1ty

Probably. Go try it and tell me.

Quote:no because you can't overclock

Not really an issue. Sandy bridge begins to run into internal bottlenecks in most applications when above 3.8GHz anyways, which diminishes the performance improvements of overclocking.
